There seems to be some confussion about the location of this photo. The map pointer indicates the approximate centre of the wind farm. The picture was taken from a point approximately five kilometres east of North Lake, overlooking a small pond, marked as "East Lake" on the map presented here. The water is just barely visible at the bottom of this photo. If anyone from the North Lake-East Point area knows a more familiar name for this pomd I would appreciate hearing it so I can make a correction.
Thank you - John

I'd like to ask John's permission to use this photo in a powerpoint presentation about the east point wind farm. I work for Bird Studies Canada.

Possibly as many as 30 to 60 Wind Turbines and ten to twenty acres of PV Solar Panels...very Small Scale Demonstration Hydro Potential as well... 200 acre parcel Ideal Green Energy Location.... you hoo is anybody looking here ? GE SHARP SIEMANS the word is "more $ is being invested in Canadian wind than the Alberta Tar Sands" and the wind won't threaten to pollute us out or run out. yackybear2005@yahoo.com
