Dear Paul,

The country is wonderful: abrupt severe wild coasts, and flat grassy top of the island, the grass is polished with continuous winds. The country is not so wild as to visitors. The island is 5*8 km, there is a small bourg Lampaul, few small villages and farms and quite many tourists, but there is sufficient free space for everybody. In our countries we have much more wild places in the north of our continents. I have seen Kamchatka, Chukotka, Some places of Alaska such as Small Diamid, Nomes and from the board of a research vessel Sitka, costs of Vancouver Is. and others. These palces are really wild, where nature is much more dominant than people. If you are interested in view of Kamchatka, you may see the site of my son www.kkclub.ru. There is an Enlish part, but it is not very develloped, though there pictures from their trip of 2006 in the nortern part of Kamchatka, and in the Russian part there are cections with photos of their new expeditions to the south of Kamchatka. All the best, Olga.

Olga I. Yakovenko on October 30, 2008

Olga

sometimes we want to catch our personal feelings on a photo...what if there are strong winds or waves...we still keep on catching both feelings and subjects.

Olga I. Yakovenko on March 28, 2009

All my visitors! thank you for your kind words.

Vassilis, I can only agree with you, Olga
