Your whole series is so nice May. I like roads that lead your eyes on adventures and this one certainly does that. Gruess, Larry.

Merci vilmal, Larry! :) That's exactly what I felt, when I took the picture. Going down this way direction west on the map leads onto the road shown on the photo, which leads upwards to the wood and the farmhouses. Härzlechi Grüess, May

I love the country roads with grass growing down the middle. Wonderful capture of these hills and fields, May!

Greetings, Ryan

I thought you would like them, Ryan, thank you! There are so many roads in the hills, because the farmers usually live near the fields, in their big houses, which give shelter in a separate part also to the animals. Thus, to every farm leads a way.

Greetings, May

A road...a dirt road...a winding road leading "somewhere". This is one of my favorite things, and youhave captured it in this evocative photo. YS! Greetings from Miami, Mary

Thank you very much for your visit, your lovely comment and the Y*, Mary!

Roads are one of my favourite topics too! In this one you see the path disappearing down the hill and on the other side climbing up the hill again, at first as a little road and then shrinking to a way again. Greetings from Switzerland, May

Yes, May. That's what I noticed and particularly enjoyed in the enlargement. Have you followed this road? It reminds me of the song, by JRR Tolkien who wrote "Lord of the Rings", "The Road Goes Ever on and on". Greetings from Miami, Mary

♫ Swissmay, on July 22, said:

Yes, Mary, I have practically followed all these roads across the hills, it's a great hiking region.

Tolkien's song suits perfectly well those roads, thank you for mentioning it! :)

Warm regards, May

Très beau paysage May. On a envie de se promener sur ces chemins qui serpentent à travers ces collines fleuries. Merci de partager ces superbes images.
