Yes they are, Atushi. Jamon (pronounced "ha-mohn") is ham in spanish! The aroma is very intense- that's if you like jamon.

A Spanish ham is very popular in Japan. Of course, wine, and beer and sake are also matched very much. However, Jamon is very expensive in Japan. I want to go to eat to Spain someday... Thanks!
