Vasco, thank you again. These are kind of shots that doesn't have any appeal at first. But once you see it in 3D all that changes. I like that contrast/irony in feelings and perception. Best wishes, Volkan
Hello VKeith. Al my 3D pictures are done based on Cross Eyed viewing which is visible directly with bare eyes or throug your own prescription glasses. I opened a discussion in the forum section to explain details of viewing and generating 3D pictures. Please review them and after that if you have questions you can always ask for more help. Oh, thank you so much, Volkan! I did it! Something I've wondered about since I was a child and played with Grandpa's stereopticon. A lifelong question answered and a whole new world of photography opens for me! Of course my mother would be furious, believing if you cross your eyes to much, they "get stuck"!
Ah Ah! Funny! My girlfriend thinks the same! Of course it's crap, but I advise you to not exagerate in the X-3D viewing though. After my first month of x-3d viewing, and I REALLY abused it, I started feeling some strange diziness, it seemed that my eyes were starting to adapt and assume the new position as being natural. I stoped seeing 3D at once, I still felt it for a week, then disapeared. I continue to see x-3d now, but a lot less and I had no problems since. I know someone who experienced the same as me:CHIPSTEPHAN
Remember, I'm not trying to scare you away of the X-3D world. It's great stuff! But it's like chocolate, do not get addicted to it
VKeith congratulations :D Welcome to the world of the 3D photography. As Vasco mentioned, X-3D's amazing simplicity and quality can be very addictive. Do not overload your brains' 3D perception network too much. Do not look for too long or too enlarged pairs from close distance. If you haven't done so, you can find all the 3D tagged images in Panoramio from this link Also as I mentioned in several places SPMis a great tool to view or create 3D pairs. Best wishes, Volkan

I've known about this photo for a while, but never commented. (When I came across Volkan's 'Boston at night' photos, I thought, hey, that's the guy with the Hull 3D! I no idea he seems to read my mind on all my favorite spots! I had planned to buy a house out here, but decided the commute wasn't do-able.)
But some back ground info on what you're looking at:
This is a shot of Windmill Point in Hull, it provides power for the local electric company, and they're building a second wind turbine here now.
And believe it or not, that big building at this incredible waterfront location at the end of a penninsula in Boston Harbor - PRIME real estate, is the High School!! I'd have stayed back every year if I went to school there!
Thanks Kamaly, I see that telepathy started since about a year ago which I wasn't aware either. Thanks for the info. Hope that they are offering night classes for grown-ups in that High School :)
yes I've certainly seen it ( and new comments there), though I doubt it will be the last!
It'll be interesting to see if they reject my 'Boston at night from the MIT side of the Charles' shots but accept yours! This one might even get accepted since it has an Alien, and not a Human, in it!
