Here is another beautiful composition!!! It must be too old!!!
Nice shot. Was it a prison? I tried spelling pennitentary a few different ways but failed. Guy.
Hi Guy, It is where all of the convicts were sent when Australia was first discovered (I think) not great on history, but will look it up. They were shipped out here I presume from England. More education for me needed. Dianne
Guy, this is just a small piece I copied in relation to the photo of Port Arthur Penal Settlement. "Created with convict labour, the impressive architecture, delightful gardens and chilling prison facilities survive today for you to explore." I was close in my history.
Good composition, colors, clouds and light
Thanks again picsonthemove, Dianne
This had to be better than Dartmoor Jail for the 'felons' Dianne, if only for the climate and scenery. Ever been to Alcatraz? --- ;>)
Hi Jim, Thank for all your wonderful comments, it is great to get good feedback. No, I havent been to Alctraz, but my son went about 10 years ago, and he just loved it. Dianne
