Since unleashed dogs and camping were both prohibited from the Horn Pond Reservation, Max cleverly disguised himself as a tree while he toasted marshmallows.

Cool B-n-P. I was looking for an animal tag on the thumb cause I thought there was a goat with young. Earlier I was looking at a picture of cormorants, but only 1.5 birds showed. Guy.

goat??? I see a black lab; then I see the black part as a face - the mouth and nose facing you; then I see Zippy the Pinhead facing right!... the list could go on!....but I still haven't seen the goats ( though to be honest, haven't had time... just stealing a few seconds here...)

very puzzling about the partial loading. Is it really only my shots? the cormorants were un-adulterated except cropping, and were from my S3.. the site's been so weird lately, I'm hoping its the site, not my shots!

now back to work, though its interesting today!

ha ha, OK, now I see it! yeah, looks like a goat from the back, climbing up to nibble some bark! Still could be a black lab, though!

someGuyinmasset on July 14, 2008

Ok, then we're both kinda right, it's a barking goat.

Nawitka on July 14, 2008

Oh, definitely a black lab, sitting on a camp chair with one leg crossed over the other and toasting a marshmallow.

ROFL Nawitka!!!! At first I couldn't figure out if you were kidding or not, and then I saw it!!!! OMG. You're good at this! Bet he's drinking Chardonnay, though. Sure looks too refined to be a beer drinking kind of camping dog! LOLOLOLOL!

Yellow star for this now. I just spent ages looking for it, and then realized where it must be hiding.

thanks, Nawitka! For me, your comment is what makes the photo! I thought it was a cool tree (and it makes an interesting 3D, too.) a goat's a good image, and the back of a black lab puppy is reasonable. But to have found Max through his camouflage, sitting there legs crossed, in his camp chair cooking marshmallows is genius, and is what now makes this one of my favorites!
