Thank you, omshakti and Bruce. It is nothing like some of the memorable sunsets I photographed there last year, but it has a unique beauty.

When we left the village hall at the end of the Sunday evening sing-along, there were none of the crowds we've often seen across the road watching the sunset or the afterglow. I saw why: there were just blue water, blue clouds, and a ribbon of light at the horizon.

As we drove along the shore, the colours in that ribbon grew more intense, so we stopped at the old dock, and this is what we saw. A quiet scene, but well worth enjoying, I think!
