The sand dunes at Lancelin, half-way between Cervantes and Perth. The massive blows look like one large skiing resort in the middle of a desert. The sand blow covers several kilometres square; there are hills, valleys, slopes and flatlands zigzagged by countless tracks of 4WD vehicles, quad-bikes, motorbikes and the like. The sand is so white that it could be easily mistaken for snow; in fact, when you observe the scenery from the distance it is nigh impossible to tell the difference.
