Hjørnedalen

Hi Georg,

Can you please tell me if you have walked up the Hjørnedal valley in Gaaseland, Scorsebysund fjord and if so was it possible to walk all the way up to Faxa Sø? I am hoping to organise an expedition for a student group that will have a base camp at Faxa Sø so we must walk from the Twin Otter landing site at Hjørnedal.

Do you know anyone else who might have walked up this valley and camped up there?

We didn´t go up the valley, just down to the sea to push off with our kayaks. If you have not done so already I would contact Nonni Travel in Akureyri (www.nonnitravel.is).
