Larry, you are frustrating me greatly by uploading so many excellent photos, each of which deserves an individual view. When I am in Door County, Wisconsin, for the summer, I have a painfully slow dial-up connection, and it would take a huge block of time just to catch up with yours! (And woe unto anyone who tried to phone us during that time!) For now I'll have to be very selective, but I do love your capture of the ground fog in this photo. Marilyn

Everything is beautiful on this picture. I think the fog makes this photo a bit mysterious which is fascinating. Congratulations Larry
Best regards from Hungary, Csaba

Thanks Csaba, Marco, Capicua, and Penny!
I was driving up the road to go on a day hike. I stopped and walked several hundred meters up the side road to take a quick look when saw this view. I had to hand hold the camera as I had left the tripod back at my rig. As the light was so low I had to use ISO 1600 and it was still a bit of a slow shutter speed.

It is a great foto, thank you for sharing! When I see something like this I am always have the feeling that I have seen it as well, but I rarely manage to shoot such good shots.

Yes, this is one of the reasons we do this, isn't it? we see something that evokes "wow" and we want to share with someone. And here we all are, standing beside you, softly breathing "wow" right along with you.

Thanks Valenbr, Bililyana, Pelopako, and Yves. Yes Penny, I am glad we live in a time where we can share some of the things that inspire that feeling in us so visually.
Best regards, Larry

An absolutely wonderful photo, Larry. I love this! I'm also amazed that you did not get any noise at that ISO - it seems whenever I go that high I get lots of noise. Gold stars** for this - very lovely with its muted palette and perspective taking you right into it. Best, alicia

Thanks Alicia. The one nice thing about having a SLR digital camera is that the larger chip helps reduce the noise at the higher ISO. Still, in mages with lots of dark areas, the noise does show up, especially when you do any enlargements.
Best regards, Larry
