Henry Fords study above the garage in the Boston-Edison neighbourhood of Detroit Michigan USA
Where Henry had a bedroom, kitchen, and study. Underneath him was the world's first car wash. Ford built a secret tunnel from this garage which led across Edison Avenue to the house he had built for Thomas Edison.
Henry lived here from 1908 to 1915, while he was thinking about the ideas of the assembly line, the Model T Ford (built in a factory one mile north of here), and how to create a radical new sociological development called The Middle Class.
