Built by Engr. Elpie Paras and his team for the Macarthur Memorial Marker committee in early 2008 at the Macabalan Port in Cagayan de Oro. This huge replica of MacArthur's "scrambled egg" cap is at least 25 ft in diameter and was built using fiberglass over a steel exoskeleton. The marker is on the actual landing site of MacArthur who had escaped via PT Boat fro Corregidor in March 1942.
