Hi Sandro, just above these fields there is an outcrop of rocks called Simons Seat from which there is a fantastic view of the valley. It's quite a steep climb to the top but well worth it:) Cheers, Anita

Great photo, I really like the tractors with the read containers on the back. They really stand out!

Best wishes, Fai

Hi fai, the tractors are at their busiest just now taking in the hay and silage, these large red harvesters do look like tiny beetles devouring the landscape:) Cheers, Anita

Hello Romance, It's lovely to hear from you again. The red tractors are splendid especially when they are new but that's not to say the old one aren't great too, they seem take on a character of their own. Regards, Anita

Hi Anita, they do actually, if your title was akin to giant beetles or ladybirds, I would certain understand. =)

I suppose this is a nice place to walking around. Greetings, Wojtek

A.SKINNER on July 24, 2008

Hi Wojtek, yes, it's a very beautiful area for walkers. On the way through the dale you can visit lovely old Yorkshire pubs where you can rest your feet and have good food, drink and accommodation:) It's nice to hear from you again. Regards, Anita

A.SKINNER on October 11, 2008

Hello Diana, thank you for visiting again, it's nice to hear from you:) This is one of my favourite views in the Yorkshire Dales especially when the silage for the animals is being cut. Regards, Anita
