3D Canyon DSC07764 3dsn 6/2/06 - W view

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

If you like to see this scene in dazzling 3D, please cross your eyes until left and right images overlap in the center. The center area should appear in 3D. You can also copy the entire image and paste it to Stereo Photo Maker for full screen viewing with zoom and pan ability or changing the 3D viewing technique. This image pair from a lava cave or the purple lotus flower is good for beginners due to their simplicity.

As you may have noticed, these images are simply taken with some offset distance between them with a regular digital camera. Therefore it is also possible for you to use your regular camera to start making your own stereoscopic 3D photographs with the mentioned software and share.

Wishing you best of luck for your success on this very simple to make yet amazingly rewarding technique.

will u please explain, how to view it in 3d format.

Volkan Yuksel on September 24, 2007

Dear Paresh,

I would very be pleased in your behalf if you can succeed this very easy but yet delivering possibly the highest quality 3D perception experience from the original images expecially considerig that you do not need any additional tool for viewing. It is called coross-eyed stereview technique, in brief X-3D.

Basically it requires you to cross your eyes until you see exactly 3 images (not 3.5 or 2.5). In that case the image in the center is actually an overlap of the two Left and right originals and will appear in 3D.

In the forum section of the Panoramio we have discussion about assistace on creating and viewing these types of 3D images. I am sure it will be useful if you have further questions. Or you can always get back to us if you have any questions. Good luck, Volkan

found this one the hardest of the ones i have tried but once there is again superb

Volkan Yuksel on July 17, 2010

Excellent Dave, you've succeeded even on the toughest ones. You can use (copy/paste) SPM to zoom in to details and enjoy 3D even more :) I also see that your photographic style is perfect for 3D. So I would like to welcome you to new possibility of taking your own X-3D shots. Hope to see them soon :) Take care, Volkan

Sevgili Aysel Hanim, ozellikle Turk gencliginin son derece zeki ve becerikli olabilecegine ben de gonulden katiliyorum. Ornegin Tum Dunya Cografyasinin 3 Boyutlu Modelllenmesine imkan saglayan Uzay Mekiginin radar sistemi Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'in tasarimi, bir Turk Uzay Muhendisi Gokhan Kayal tarafindan tasarlandi.

Volkan
