man... its really to bad this place burned down... i went to pigeon forge every year since i was a kid and every year i went to this exact place. i know one thing, me my mom and dad are really gonna miss this place, i heard they were going to rebuild though and i've seen a few pictures and they're making some progress. cant wait till we go up and see how far they've got

The folks at the arcade/go-kart track next door said the bears survived the fire and are still being maintained in their enclosure which is curently boarded up and not in view of the public. I was also told there were plans to rebuild the store. I hope they can. The store had a nice variety of neat gifts. When I was last there at the first of November, there were no signs of a new structure coming up yet.
