Ha? what is Dokdo?! It's after 1904! Korea come to call "Liancourt Rocks" to "Dok-do." =’Cuz Korea DIDN'T know "existence of Takeshima." :Korea called here as"Ryanko" after having known existence 1900~1904.

Meanwhile, Japan called this island "Matsushima" from ancient times.

Haha! It's so sisonori. You said that Korea know Lianbcourt Rocks in 1900~1904? Haha. What do you is the basis that Shimane announced the inclusion of Liancourt Rocks in 1905?

That was "Liancourt Rocks had never been recognized or owned by any country".

So silly.

More over that, Japaness government ordered Shimane not to intrude Liancourt Rocks, Dokdo for that Dokdo was owned by Chosun, the former nation of Korea at that time 1877, as you know.

You escape about Daijokan order debate long long ago. Why don't you discuss about the Daijokan order if you have so firm belief?

Don't be so silly sisonori. You make Japaness silly people.

wgryim, Japan has been claiming occupancy since 1600's, ["삼국사기Samguk Sagi1145" NOT mentioned about Liancourt Rocks(Now-Takeshima).] and it has been a part of Japan when it was admitted into formally in 1905. In other words "Before War and Japan/Korea Annex."

1905details = A fishermen asked for permission for sea dog fishing (in this time, the fishing seems to be prohibited) →Management was talked about with the prefecture and country. →The island will be managed in the prefecture. →Incorporation notification (It is confirmed that there are no signs that another country ruled when investigating).

If korea wants own the Takeshima, Please return money!! Japan paid the constable instead of Korea. and Return the property contributed when Japan-Korea is annexed. Total= 16 trillion yen. and Korea should apologize for the invasion of Japanese Takeshima.

Hey you still do repeat same words without any accptable answer?

How could you say that there was no sign that another country ruled the island?

You know, Japaness Daijokan already published order that described the ownership of Korea(Chosun) in 1877. I told you more than ten of times.

More over that, there are several subsidary documents describing the detailed process Daijokan made decision.

You may better to stop repeating silly writing. I don't want everybody regard Japaness silly people like you. I don't want to do repeat say bad word from my tongue.

Please show us reasonable evidence which covers Daijokan order 1877. That will be the first step you must make for the sound discussion.

HE TRUTH IS... In the original edition of The Revised Complete Map of Japanese Lands and Roads, which is a map privately made in 1779, Ulleungdo and Dokdo are uncolored as is the Korean Peninsula. Also, the two islands are located outside the grid of Japan’s longitudinal and latitudinal lines, indicating that the islands are outside of Japanese territory. Meanwhile, there are a number of old Japanese maps published by the Japanese government, including The Chosen Tokai Kaiganzu (“A Map of the Eastern Coast of Korea,” 1876), which was published by the Japanese Ministry of the Navy, that places the two islands within Korea’s territory. Since 1696, when the Tokugawa Shogunate officially banned Japanese fishermen from crossing the East Sea to Ulleungdo Island, Japanese people gradually became confused about the two islands, and not only did they refer to the islands in several different names such as Matsushima(松島), Riyanko Island (リヤンコ島), Ranko Island (ランコ島), and Takeshima (竹島), but also was the islands’ geographic location completely forgotten in the end. Fig. 1 The Chosen Tokai Kaiganzu (“A Map of the Eastern Coast of Korea”, 1876) by the Japanese Ministry of the Navy : The map indicates that the two islands are within Korean territory.

Thank you for your correction. At first, above article was not written by me but i can say that it is my own opinion because I firmly believe this article. As you mentioned above, we are not a diplomat. But we should exchange our opinions on the ground of clear and exact imformation. especially, when we are talking about keenly sensetive subject such as Dokdo. So, i adopted above article from the authorized research institute in our country. If you find any problems or wrong imformation, please let me know, i will answer you with all my might. Thank you.

The Korean Government’s protest led the American Air Forces to immediately exclude Dokdo from its bombing range and to send the Korean Government an official notification of the action. Additionally, that Dokdo was located within the KADIZ, and hence outside the JADIZ which were newly set up at the time, also confirms that the island is Korea’s territory. The continued use of Dokdo as a bombing range for US Air Forces and repeated bombings in 1952 that inflicted losses to Korean fishermen working around the island, were results from Japan’s incitation as clearly shown in the records from the National Diet of Japan. ※ The following are words exchanged between Yamamoto, a Diet member from the Shimane constituency, and Ishihara, Vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, in a Foreign Affairs committee meeting held in the House of Representatives on May 23, 1952. Yamamoto: “As for the designation of the military practice area for the Occupation Forces, I think that if the vicinity of Takeshima is designated as a practice area, it would help Japan get confirmation of its territorial sovereignty over the island. Please tell me if that is what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs intends.” Ishihara: “It seems that things are sought after in various ways largely from such an idea.” Fig. 8 Opening a memorial monument for the 1948 Dokdo bombing victims (June 8, 1950): A ceremony was held to open the memorial stone erected at Dokdo for the Dokdo fishermen who lost their lives at the 1948 Dokdo Bombing Incident. The governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do attended the ceremony.

Dokdo is the territory of Korea forever.

I dont know whatever your claim is the truth or not. Because I believe claims of Korea. Prior to claiming that Dokdo is a part of Japan, you have to reflect on yourselves. Because you country, Japan, has made the whole of Asia including Korea as a war and the land is exploited, Innocent people are killed.

The claim that Dokdo is a part of Japan is because you still have the mentality of these bad invaders. You do not make the false claim, apologize and reflect on yourselves on behalf of Japan. Dokdo is the territory of the Korea forever.

Dokdo's Day is 25th of October each year. Korea Empire edict #41 which Dokdo is a part of Ulleungdo's was established on 25th of October in 1900. We celebrate the day as the Dokdo's Day. I believe that you give a celebration for us.
