This building used to form part of the campus of Barington College. But when that was folded into Gorndon College in 1985, the campus was aquired by Zion Bible Institute. I believe Zion is moving to a new location in Massachusetts; I don't know what will become of this campus.

Compared to most things in the United States, it was rather grand. My portrayal of it is grim, because the photos I have of it are old and faded. This one worked in black and white, in a style I don't normally like, but it was better than the alternative.

Just steps from where I took this photo, in the fall of 1979, I proposed to my wife, so it holds fond memories for me. Alas, they are bittersweet, for a few years later, the school closed.
