Hank, I hope you won't tell me that this is the only one you took of this view. It's just too "right" not to be the best of more than one try! Very good work. Marilyn

You are 100% right, Marilyn. I've decided to share the series of NY subway stations in southern Brooklyn (NOT to be confused with South Brooklyn which is a horse of a different color).
There were a half dozen shots with various pedestrians and images of cars blocking part of the shot. This one said what I wanted.
Thanks to you too Kent. I'm really enjoying finding ways to record the Brooklyn I remember, and I appreciate it when one of my shots is good enough to grab a fellow photographer.

Is this the north or south side of Kings Highway? Wasn't there a pizza place next door?

Greetings my.simcoe and welcome to the ""hood." The entrance to the station in on the north side of Kings Highway; I was standing on the south side of the street. I don't remember a pizza place next, but that's not saying there wasn't one. I remember that Dubrows commanded the Northwset corner of East 16th and Kings Highway.

Hank,
Yes, Armondo's Pizza, a small stand, was located about two stores down from the entrance in your photo. There was a small jewelery store, and then the pizza joint. To the right of that, and past a candy store was Dubrow's.
