....ahh!!...simply love green!..in Malaysia, we use lots of banana leafs (for cooking) but has never realised the beauty of it. Thanks for this capture..

Dear Raz and Liviu. Thank you both for your special responses. I am encouraged and I certainly enjoy the fellowship of kind brothers.

To those who know bananas well, Raz, a photo like this is just a wee part of our identity. For those who don't live among the banana groves this may well be ambiguous enough to suggest an aerial of cultivation. At least that is what has been suggested to me by different viewers. But playing with pattern and texture is meant to provoke the artist in me.
