Thanks again! The international participation here on Panoramio is amazing. I wish that I could travel to meet and take pictures with all of you.

I've recently completed another 3500 mile trip to visit Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton national parks. I've uploaded a few of my favorites from that trip to panoramio for the August contest (votable starting next week in September).

I'll be at the Burning Man event in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada this week, then in September and October I'll revisit incredible mountain, desert and canyon landscapes in Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. I'll post my schedule on my blog in case our paths might cross. If not, I'll be sure and share some of my favorites as I go!

Ohhh I miss Ruby beach, out of the countless beaches in the Pacific NW, it definitely ranks up there as one of the best.

Is this on planet Earth!?

Hi, Jeff. Great photo.

What happened to all the people? Every time I drive past Ruby Beach, the parking lot is almost full; especially considering you took this in mid July.

I was curious about your camera settings in the "Extra Information". I can see that if you used a Bulb exposure you might get an exposure of 12.338s, but the F/Stop of 22.627 seems unusual to me. The 14mm focal length seems a bit wide for what you captured also, unless you did some heavy cropping.
