Beautiful view, Paula. The house in the middle of the picture looks quite old? And very English.
Cheers, shieldc

Thanks sheildc, The building in the middle was an Inn at one time, it is now empty, it's a shame as it is a lovely old building.

An update here sheildc, the Inn was called 'The Ship Inn' and in the early years of World War 2, was renowned as a meeting place of locals, soldiers, and girls of ill repute!, so I have been informed! More a reason to preserve the building to my mind! I have also had a drink here, but in the 70's, when the world was a very different place!

I agree, that it's important to preserve old buildings. Maybe it will be; at least it is not torn down yet. In my young days, also in the 70's, when I worked in the fish industry, we had a local pub called 'Ship Inn' in Hjerting, just outside Esbjerg, where we had our daily meal at a price of 15,- DKK (1 1/2 £). :-)
Cheers, shieldc
