Situated in the West Mountain of Beijing,China, the Fragrant Hill Park is well known for the best place to see Red Leavies in mid October in Beijing.
And there's a plant museum nearby.
The white building in the photo is the Fragrant Hill Hotel by Chinese American master architect Pei.
Just at the foot of the Fragrant Hill Park not far away is the Jade Spring Hill,a resort palace for senior communist leaders nowadays. On the top of it there is also a pagoda similar to that in Yan'an and looking like a cock of a man erecting, symbolizing the prosperous revolution never fails.
Staying in a villa called Shuangqing with a cigarette in hand in 1949 in the park,Chairman Mao directed his one million army to cross the Yangtze River to perform his revolution to the end.
A great and holly place worth visiting, isn't it?
