Yep, my place will be the one with a bear up the pole.
LOL, Brutus doing his job, or does the bear think the transformer is a pot of honey? OK, I guess you haven't been posting shots of any because they're common as squirrels! Interesting to put the usual trees in perspective, and it seems I spy Spiderville in the distance.
But come on Guy - you know planes well enough to see the differences in the tails between this and the adjacent thumbnail! Can't trick me there. But perhaps this is the one in the map view?
Ursus Canadiensis Theodorus Kamaly. And now I'm wondering. Panoramio is down right? I got here through the e-mail alert, and I can go to your site, but if I try mine it is closed for a few days. Guy.
ahh, yes, that name seems about right! So in fact it isn't related to Ursus hydroelectricus limey columbiana?
From looking at the forum, seems a lot of people are having a lot of trouble with things lately. Photos disappearing, getting closed out, all kinds of things. I've been able to log on OK, though occasionally I get the 'Down for Maintenance' message, or other weird things happening. But then I get through when I re-try, both here and at work. But maybe those being high speed links they sneak through, or I can just keep trying easily, without waiting 10 minutes for the page to crash and then have to start over.
But not sure what you mean that you can't get through to yours. Once you're here can you really not get to your page or upload?
LOL, I think someone was just trying to come up with a way to help you find your way to your page, and this shot had gotten them thinking of a few other little games you could play. The annoying person questioning your location almost did sign the message with that username, though!
It was a very thoughtful person B-n-P that wanted to make sure I had my place mapped properly so beachbumkitty could find it. But then I got to thinking, what are the chances of beachbumkitty being able to read a map?
I don't think you're giving her enough credit! After all, beachbumkitty was the first person in 8 months who correctly pointed out that this photo by BNP was in fact not ancient Mayan ruins located on the New England coast! Couldn't fool bbk, even though I had an educational expedition all planned out!
And when ever I look at this shot of yours, I'm reminded of a hassle I had to put up with for several years trying to drive to friends houses or project sites. And when I first started seeing all the shots of it people post on P-World, I thought it was ridiculous they thought it photo worthy! Be Careful! THIS could be your little corner of the world if you let development there get out of hand! (in those days your favorite user name actually sort of applied to me!)

Now you really gotta wonder, is the plane in my picture shown in the thumbnail on the satellite image?

He's having fun with you again, Bitsy. It's not a bear, just a BC Hydro linesman.
Of Course! It does look a lot like a typical guy from northern BC, even after he's shaved for a hot date, of course!
Help me somebody pleeease! That Nawitka and B-n-P are picking on me again. Bullies!
I was picking on BC Hydro. You work for them?
ohhh, Guy. You can dish it out but ya can't take it, not even from girls!!!! Starting to see why you like babies so much!......;D
and I'm wondering: just what species of bear is that climbing up the pole?

It's wierd, I can move between mid-size pics with the arrows, but I can't get to the thumbnail page.
I think you may be right about the bear, the hydroelectricus being a rare subspecies of the theodorus.
