Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Gemma was adopted from a shelter where she had been rescued some time before. As a kitten she had a bad ear infection which made her deaf. She is an absolute delight, and lives life to the full. She is an inside cat, for her safety, and her deafness is mentioned on her collar just in case she accidentally gets out. We hope that never happens of course... she is happy inside with plenty of entertainment and everything a cat needs. One day she might get a friend or 7 to live with =)
