That picture brings back memories. I used to catch eels & crabs in the rockpools beside the North Carr and take them to the rockpool at the Fisheries Museum across the road. So I could get in for free. The North Carr is now berthed in Dundee.

The map position of the Lightship is wrong. It was berthed alongside the East Pier while the map is indicating the West Pier. It was on the sandy beach near the B9131 at the East Shore car park.

Thank you whiskeymac17 I agree with you on the position of the Lightship but the convention on Panoramio is to mark the spot where the photo was taken from, which in this case was the West Pier.
