Fantastic view my dear Friend. Now I understand your notice about the windy and narrow road from Alanya to Mersin.

Are those cascades vineyards or something?

My dear friends Hasan and Miša,

you're soo kind in commenting, thanks much.

Miša, Kaledran area (Yakacık or Anıtlı) is the border between the Antalya and Mersin province. The roads are not really narrow, but double bended (serpentines), so the travelling speed is very low. I don't know what is planted on that terraces, but I guess no vines. The most agricultural plants in this region are banana and citrus plants, further all kind of vegetables, because of the semitropical climate with high relative humidity. This is why they plant also fruits from exotic lands like pineapples, papayas, mangos, kiwis and a lot of other tropical fruits in natural and laboratory conditions. I also heard of coffee cultivation from Yemen. You can see many of greenhouses in Yakacık village see various photos on Panoramio, especially here and here. And you can find a small vodeo clip from Kaledran on YouTube.

Greetings, Andreas

Thanks a lot my Friend for the links. I hope you are doing fine?

This area is definitely interesting for visiting. I assume you can still feel the original tastes of Turkey there, and this is what I like the most. If I get a chance to travel again to this great country, I'll pass this way for sure, spend a few days there, as I would also like to visit our Friend Mustafa in Adana.

Best regards, Miša.

I am not feeling quite well, but I do hope I will recover soon and restore my strength for other trips next year.

Thanks for your concern.

My dearest regards to you and your nice family, Miša.
