They're right, Güney; it's in Turkey, but it's an Armenian creation. You have to admit it. History proves it and past can't be changed. Rocky from Brazil.

Dear Arthur,

You and others like you are in a dream world.. There were never 2,000,000 Armenians in Anatolia.. Stop hiding behind a lie and face the truth. 20% of Azerbaycan is under Armenian occupation. This so called genocide business is getting a bit old, you should find something else..

AKHTAMAR island's("OH, TAMAR" in Armenian), lake Van, Saint Cross Church is one of the well-known Armenian churches in Western Armenia (Turkey since 1915), which remains in a relatively satisfactory condition regarding many thousands of the other Armenian churches, barbarically destroyed by Turkish Army Forces in the period since 1915 to 1923, when 1,5 of millions of native Armenian population was killed and millions of the rest spread all over the world. It is very well known that the Genocide was committed then by Turkey's leaders, who had never sympathized to the local Armenian Christian population, which constantly fought the Turks in goals of an independent Armenian State creation in the borders of the historical Armenia. Turkey categorically denies the fact of the Genocide, facing the danger of a recession, both the material and territorial. The Armenian Genocide recognition process rises up every March, when millions of Armenians all over the world demand the Genocide recognition from Turkey. It's necessary to notice that the Genocide is recognized by the majority of countries in the world, with the exception of the Great Britain, United States and Israel (a country, that has survived the so-called Holocaust itself...) It's well known that the Turkish State prepares an ugliest propagandist trick in the Van region (Van was the capital of the Armenian Kingdom for at least three thousands of years), permitting the Christian liturgy at the Akhtamar Armenian Church, only ....one day a year, which is September 19. There's no doubt that this action will be held to show the so-called tolerance of the Turkish society towards the Armenians and of course, to show a new, 'democratic' face of the Turkish State. In the same time Turkey continues to use all possible and impossible activities to resist the Armenian Genocide recognition process, proving once again that there's nothing changed in Turkey, even a century later. To be short: Armenians all over the world, do not support this dirty propagandist Turkish trick, which will definitely bring a great gain to Turkey and none to our people. These territories are ours by any means, we will attend our cities and memorials when it will be necessary, and following our joint struggle we will re-establish it as ARMENIA very soon.
