Simply Red

This is one of my earliest attempts at digital photography.

Returning to my home port from a successful fishing trip, the sun was sinking slowly into the sea..The range of colours and tones was overpowering. I rarely take a camera with me since sea air and sensitive electronics do not mix, but on this day I was lucky. I stopped the engine and gazed in complete awe as this phenomena occurred, taking a number of photos as the sun was setting on the blood red sea.

I have looked through your collection over and over and you set me a difficult task, Jim. This is all I could find that could possibly be considered for "THAT GROUP". (Slight tilt on the horizon) ;)

Oh thanks Kieth :)) I appreciate the attention, however, you have overlooked another howler with an even worse inclination..I could upload them both and wait for a response..I'm open to advise on this delicate issue ;)))

Holy mackeral, what a sky!!! I have a feeling I spelled the fish wrong, but what the heck, blimey, Jim you must have been worried the end of the world had come with a sky like that --it's an inferno!

Sue Allen on October 19, 2011

And aha, I thought it rang a bell after I called it an inferno, as I came to see it back in 2008, but well, it shocked me anew. :) x

Stunningly beautiful. You can almost confuse the sea with the sky. L+F. Best wishes, Miguel.
