Thanks. I tried to make the water a little less green, but attempts to do so had funny effects on the cliff walls.
I've been to Watkins Glen (don't fall off the edge), but have no photos. Another place in that area with spectacular waterfalls is Lechworth State Park. Alas, I have no good photos.
Nice, with the long shutter time.
Excellent shot, I like the colors and the balance of light. Well done
I grew up in Le Roy. We used to play here often. I won the John Armino Award named for the Le Roy High School senior who lost his life saving another boy from a train on the bridge above the falls. The bridge now serves a haul road for a nearby rock quarry.
@Austin: What should this deleting? I have made me thoughts to this and the other of your pictures, wrote it in english that you understand what I write and searched words for it in google. I did´t wrote a one or two word comment where you can say, "it´s spam" or something else.
The link I have made under the comment leads to a picture which is currently not to vote for contest so I do not understand why you treat my comment so...
I still wish you a nice day,
I will appologize for deleting the comments you left on my two pictures. Unfortunately, there are so many messages with links to the contest that I assume all links go to the contest.
This time I was wrong, and I appologize.
Hey, thanks Austin for your appologize :)
I like this picture because of this fantastic waterfall, looks realy great. I love the long time exposure with this smooth effekt on the falling water. And how your title said: looks like (butter)milk :D
Have a nice evening,
Beautiful contrast with the gray cliffs and soft falling water with the golden trees and daylight.
Check out my page on this waterfalls at Buttermilk Falls, Le Roy
Thanks for that, Scott A. Ensminger. I took this photo between 25 and 30 years ago. I have no way of knowing if we were legally trespassing at the time. In any case, that means that without my photo, there would be no (legal) image of it on Panoramio.
Nice photo. I spent many hours of my childhood there.
Thanks, DanKibler. Sadly, I don't believe any way to legally to approach the falls any more.
Very nice photo!
