The memorial that stands in front of the church recognizes the "first sacrament of the Lord's Supper was administered by the Rev John Thomson, Sunday October 1st, 1826." The memorial was "Erected by Her Majesty Queen Salote Tupou & The chiefs & People of Tonga."

But is its interior that impressed me. See next image.

In terms of design I like more the external side, with a great influence of Robert Venturi's architectural concepts, but reading your deep dialogue with our friend Jim I understand your impression, warmest greetings, Edmundo

Dear Edmundo you are setting me off on another architectural exhibition. Now I have to learn about Venturi. And thanks for understanding the significance of culture which, very intentionally, was factored in for this particular church.
