Hallo Bruce, ... F A N T A S T I C ...
greetings from Germany, Rolf
Great shot, greetongs Jacek
Very good Bruce. A photo with three very different sets of lighting making an overall successful picture. Well done! Herb
Many thanks Rolf, Jacek and Herb -- much appreciated!
The unique lighting came from being right on the east side of a big dark storm that had just finished dumping snow on the hills in the background. The storm was lifting, so clouds in the valleys were rising and being hit with sunlight. Also in the middle ground was a lot of blue smoke just hanging on the hilltop. The foreground, including where the photo was taken, was in direct sunlight.
Very nice picture, Bruce. Oregon is very nice, unfortunately is one of the states that I've never had the opportunity to visit. Ciao. Andrea
Thank you Andrea, I hope you get a chance to visit Oregon soon.
Wow! Beautiful Foto! Best regards from Germany.

Greetings Bruce, What a beautiful picture. Yellow Star from me!
Thanks Rich, like most lucky shots, this one took a weird combination of smoke, a storm and direct sun light to bring together eye catching colors and drama in the sky.
Thank you Jim, nice of you to drop by and comment. I had no idea when I shot this photo how well it would turn out.
