This is the jackass who lives on Jackass Hill. She is a sweet old lady who is willing to come over and talk with you, if she believes you're polite. She is a member of the family of the direct descendants of the Gillises, who were Mark Twain's (Samuel Clemens) hosts after his escape from the San Francisco police. At one time, Jackass hill was the stopping place for hundreds of miner's jackasses. Can you imagine the singing . . . . ?
