GUAM - A different sunset...soothing silvery-gold reflections at Hagatña Bay

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Breathtakingly beautiful sunset but typical sight in Guam, this common occurrence is often taken for granted as residents go about their daily business. This particular sunset seemed very slow for the sun to set but I loved it. One thing's for sure - the camera's eye catches what the human eye overlooks or does not notice. Only when photos are digitally displayed or printed do we sometimes say "Oh Yeah..WoW!!!, as we are reminded of what more than half of the world hardly, if ever, see. Guam is indeed fortunate.

Wonderful sunrise. It was worth getting up for this one. Good job!

Thank you so much. When I was younger, I took our sunrises & sunsets for granted - never even noticed them. When I started having digital cameras that give you instant results then upload on PCs, photos really gave me a brand new appreciation for what nature "gifts" to us. Come visit Guam...
