The car ferry is named after Arnljot Gelline. A man born in Gällö and therefore got the farm's name. An unusually tall man with sweeping hair who was early baptist to Christianity. He died together with the Norwegian King Olav in an attempt to re-capture the Norwegian realm during the battle of Stiklestad in the year 1030.
