Great scene Gerry: bet it was cold.

Best Regards,

Séan.

PS

I'm just off over the border to do battle with a team from Nuremore ('beaten docket' already, as they say up here!!)

Good luck Sean! Hope you packed the polka dot jersey - very hilly if I remember, but good craic in the bar on Saturday nights!

Hi Gerry.

Nice scene. This is a difficult photo to take with the contrast of the bright areas and shadow on a mid-afternoon day. The bit of red in the "green" photo draws the eye. Nicely composed and the bit of framing make this an eye catcher. Larry

Thanks Larry. It was very nice of the lads to group themselves in three also! Sean Madidi is the local guy and he has some shots of this area using HDR to balance the lighting.

Echoe all that Larry has said above Gerry. The image "works" with the lads in the shot. Looks like a great place to cool off and relax. I can see myself as a kid doing the same thing. :)

Best regards, Tom

Hi Gerry, 'hilly' was spot-on!! We were duly chinned as expected but the bar was lively for a Sunday: surprisingly a few Waterford supporters were in for the hurling and the craic was good :-)

Best Regards,

Séan.

Lovely landscape but it seems very cool. Did you actually swim? Greetings from Greece, Marina

Thanks folks!

Tom / Marina Reminds me of one of my favourite movies 'Stand By Me'! The air was cool so I guess the water was also - at least the lads won't have to remove leeches!

Gerry the above is simply perfect....by the way "Stand by Me" is what I was going to say it reminded me of (and then I saw your post above ;).

Beautifully lit shot Gerry. It reminded me of 'Stand By Me' too. I think I'd have passed out to if I'd discovered a leach in the same place as the boy in the movie! :)

Fantastic to see you posting again Pam. I hope you are well? :)

Thanks Jacques, Rodriguez, Pam and Billy.

Love that movie! What has happen the film industry!! Not just the writers strike, it's been going down hill for a while now. I suspect that a good story line has become secondary importance to the Directors.
