Lynx Lake Cabin #1 in Nancy Lake State Park, Alaska

These cozy little cabins, managed by the State Parks, are all over the state. Some are on roads and some, like this one, you must walk, ski, boat, or fly to. We snowshoed 4 miles to this one.

You probably enjoyed this cabin a great deal, however you have placed the picture icon on the wrong lake!! You have placed it on Frazier Lake where there are no public use cabins, instead Lynx Lake (I believe that is where this cabin is located - certainly if it was on a little spit of land on the north end of the lake with a private cabin on an island a couple of hundred yards away) - It is a beautiful paddle into it!!!

Hmm, thanks donlove, I'm not surprised if I got it wrong. I mapped this one before I learned how to geotag my photos BEFORE uploading them, and I haven't looked at it since. Geotagging in Panoramio's teeny tiny location maps is a drag. Looking at it now I certainly see that I have it on the wrong lake! I will relocate it in Panoramio, but I don't know when that correction will show in Google Earth.
