You made me happy wether this snap deserves it or not, but you can watch lions Den with no fear, as I,ll be Taping, subscribing it,and editing any little detail that might be detrimental to your health then slipping you a snippet now and then to cheer you up. Ha Ha Ha, I thought you would have had a look at my shots of the flying Herons, I dont think they,re beautiful but I do think they,re lucky.cheers scally,

Look Fain Iam just a poor PENSIONER, and I now feel a lot more vunerable than you do when I prive into your circumstancies.these cars which are obviously on a public car park, and obviously each has its own driver. Our old Bus.stopped here on the way to Carnoustie, me and the wife refused to go for coffee( one place wanted £1 for a cup) so to pass the the time I offer my expertice to a couple of owners ,lunching froma great big basket full of goodies, they FREELY accepted the advise and me and the wife carried our thirst to the refreshment tray in the Hotel suite,I think the owners came from Vircinia Waters, nice folks but awu miserly. so that,s the story of the cars,oh the guy that wanted them posted was "The SON of A Miner" cheers scally.

Hi Amelia, did she get your Old man on the course cheap. I only played the Old course once, and in 1974 it cost £20, We took the 2 weans there caravaning when they were young and pliable, but 1/2 hr. in the Pool (now an Aquarium)at the rocks was all they could take, and that,s when the Sun was splitting the Trees,LOL, We were staying at Carnoustie when I took this picture, and the one of the Castle that won an Honorable mention last Month,s contest, Still waiting fur the prize, LOL cheers scally from Glasgow.

Hello Scally, we were citizens of St.Andrews and got on any course for nothing! But I never took advantage of this as we flitted to England when I was 12. Was the Step Rock Bathing Pool still in operation in 1974 then? I used to be in and out of there many's the time. But I agree, it was a cold pool, and I preferred the open sea. So what will your glittering prize be Scally.

Greetings from south of the border, Amelia

Hi Amelia, I guess you sussed out that I was a wee bit leerie of your scottish conection. The last holiday we were there as a family was 1980 and that pool was open then. I,ve got a snap of my daughter shivering at the top of the iron ladder. Kasia a Polish member told me that she swam as a girl on the beach at Carnoustie, I would think twice of taking my Heavy jumper off anywhere on the East coast. The Prizes and winners are listed in the Contest page Amelia, and you don,t get much for a honourable Mention, only the glory. this shot of mine has had 1700 hits, yet if you open the Map for StAndrews,I,ve got 4 photos that are listed before it. LOL cheers scally. I will revisit your gallery, you got some nice pictures of some big bonnie Vikings and that,s only the Lassies, what chance would a wee scottish Bauchle have against their men.
