Sehr schönes Bild, May!

Gabi, Tom, Eva, Blai, thank you a lot for visiting this river with me! It's inmidst the woods and wonderful relaxing in this hot weather. Blai, special thanks for your Y*!

My best greetings, May

Liebe Grüsse, May

What an unusual place! Rocks and water always seem to find new forms to create. It reminds me of two hands clasped together. Wonderful photo, May.

Nice picture!

Thank you very much for your interest, Ryan! Yes, the water has eaten its way through the Nagelfluh, which is a conglomerate of stone deposits (pepples, sand and sediments), compressed by the glaciers to a very firm concrete-like mass 10 million years ago. On the surface they erode like in the example above. More some day later with some other photos.

Gute Aufnahme May.......und jetzt weiss ich was Nagelfluh ist!

Eugene, thank you very much for visiting my page! Greetings, May

Phippi, vielen Dank! Herzliche Grüsse, May

Greetings May, What a beautiful little fall in the canyon. It looks cool and inviting. Nice pools for soaking your tired feet.
