In Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, near the new bridge, they have apparently torn down a couple of older buildings but saved the foundations. On the smaller foundation they are putting up a new building--in an old style! Strange ...

The larger foundation is still waiting; it can be seen at the left of this picture.

People want to see old stlye buildings. The newer ones built are just big boxes with no characteristics. I to have noticed the old style comming back, but not as much in detail as the older buildings. I guess they would call that recycling.

I agree that old style ones are more interesting. (I think there can be interesting new style ones, but its cheaper just to put up boxes.) But I'm still amused by this combination of Old and New and "Old." Yes, recycling styles is a good way to think of it! Greetings, Marilyn
