The Welsh National Folk Museum has collected taditional Welsh buildings from across Wales and rebuilt them at the St Fagans site as a village/living museum. Each is furnished to represent a period in its original life. These are typical miner's terraced cottages, originally little more than one room downstairs and one room upstairs.
My friend Minwel Tibbott did the oral history interviews with people who lived in these in Merthyr before the row of cottages was re-erected here. I like it in the autumn when they have all the fires burning. Great museum!

This building was seen in the 2007 Dr Who episode "Family of Blood"
