The Welsh National Folk Museum has collected taditional Welsh buildings from across Wales and rebuilt them at the St Fagans site as a village/living museum. Each is furnished to represent a period in its original life. Note that this cottage is larely constructed from unshaped boulders.

This cottage is "Llainfadyn", a slate quarryman's dwelling, built in 1762 in Rhostryfan, Gwynedd. Museum attendant.
