A very fine tribute to what looks like a proud old cherry? farm truck, posing with such stature. I like your low point of vantage in this, Marilyn - you give this 'antique' the credit it's due. (I've decided to begin at the beginning of your gallery - that way I won't feel so behind ;).
ps - I left you a note under my farm photo, as I had to re-upload it
I'm very glad you like the vantage point in this, Alicia. It was born of necessity! The truck stands on a rise in a field beside a very good farm market, and propped against the far side of the truck is a sign advertising the market! By staying at the bottom of the rise and bending as low as I could, I was able to minimize the intrusion of the sign. But lo and behold! I like the effect, too! Cheers, Marilyn
It's great how something ugly like a sign can force you to come up with a much more interesting shot. This perspective works well with the angle of the light, too.
Thanks for the good comment, Ryan. I'm adding this experience to my mental file of pictures when something I didn't like pushed me to look a bit harder--with a good outcome!
Abandoned, but still there to catch the eye!
I'm glad it caught your eye, Ed! Cheers, Marilyn
I am fanatic of old trucks and cars....I find esthetic forms and colors ... LK
