thanks! I don't know that many people really realize what these are - someone thought they were lollipop sculptures like the painted cows a lot of cities do (see the user '138cows' in my favorites here) Took me a while, but I figured them out: Ohhhh - Giant MapQuest pins!

Wouldn't it be funny to live in a world where there were real 3d Panoramio Logo pins where all our photos are located on GE?
