In the distance, Sion's two most famous landmarks are visible: on the left hill, Valère, the remains of a castle. On the right hill, Tourbillon, a church, still very much in use. This shot was taken from the Montorge.

Hi Justin,

Were you is Sion for an airshow or for Panoramio? I don't know whether they still have airshows there, but they did when I was in Switzerland a long time ago.

Your folio is just wonderful, if I haven't already made that clear.

Hi Ian, I was in Sion for a holiday. I think they still do an airshow there from time to time, but there are larger ones in Bex (just around the valley) and Axalp.

So having visited here, did you also visit the Aletsch glacier in person? After making such detailed notes, I can only hope you did and let yourself be awed by nature!

And thanks for that big compliment!

Kind regards, Justin
