The farmhouse across the road belongs to an artist, so I imagine that's who does the tending. It's the only place near. There's a mowed path, but it's not right up by the log building. I was glad of that: I think it looks nicer with the more "natural" foreground.

They're not supposed to do it on the grounds of one thing being more "lovely" than another, and the two shots are certainly similar in what they do and don't include!!
