A son called to a half light(a media luz) exists, it is a very remembered Tango and this picture brought to me to the mind that topic, congratulations for this shot, sincerely Garcia Rey Mexico.
Good evening, Garcia Ray, and welcome to my gallery. I am so delighted by your visit and kind words.
".... Y todo a media luz,
que es un brujo el amor...
a media luz los besos,
a media luz los dos...
Y todo a media luz,
crepúsculo interior,
que suave terciopelo
la media luz de amor.. ."
It is indeed a very romantic tango, and I am flattered that my photo inspired thoughts of such a song. =)
Your visit has been greatly appreciated. I do hope that you will stop by again soon.
The mysterious door! How do you find all this great stuff to photograph? Do you get to spend a lot of time traversing the forgotten backroads of Georgia? You're images speak of a magical existance in a forgotten land.....
I was actually given an invitation to go and visit this wonderful place by a friend I met here on Panoramio. The shot was taken in an old shed right beside a beautiful historic home up in Covington, GA.
I was surprised at how mysterious the shot turned out, and I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed it.
I DO spend quite a lot of time traveling Georgia's back roads though. Oh yes, a lot of time indeed, and from what I've learned about you, I'm pretty sure that you do the exact same thing!
I can't thank you enough for your very kind words regarding my photography. I couldn't be happier with the way you view my work.
Wishing you a wonderful evening and upcoming weekend,
Yes, you HAVE seen this shot before, but thank you for revisiting. I'm delighted that you felt it was worth a second look, and thank you very much for your generous praise. Sometimes certain images just scream out for black and white. This was certainly one of them, and I'm happy that you agree!
I hope this evening finds you very well, my friend.
Yes, some shots do scream out to be black and white. I love black and white photography :0)
Groovy Friday to you too. My daughter will be 2 months old tomorrow on Halloween. What should I dress her up as?
Fuscia, Happy Halloween to you and your two month old daughter! At 2 months, I don't think you have too much to worry about as far as how you should dress her. It's doubtful that she'll remember anything about Halloween this year. Maybe you should just dress her in a nice warm blanket as a two month old little baby! How's that? =)
Thanks again for enjoying this black & white shot, and best wishes to you and your family this Halloween! Maybe next year will be more exciting for your little girl.
