That's the Pyne Building, built by Moses Taylor Pyne, one of Princeton University's great benefactors (two buildings on campus are named for him, as is an undergraduate prize). It was actually designed to look like it belongs in an English town of the Tudor period, to match the University's contemporary Gothic dormitory construction. The idea was that the whole neighborhood would look like Oxford. It didn't work out that way, but it's still an attractive building right in the center of Princeton.

Yes, with all the elaborate stone Gothicism of Princeton University, this structure, across the street, is still the most recognizable in this very-historic town, I think! So attractive!
