:D thanks, guy! I have to admit, I sort of wanted to title this one 'Checkmate'. But since I've joined your habit of carrying on a conversation jumping around on miscellaneous photos, no one else would even begin to understand that. and thanks for giving me a reason to post this strange version! earlier that day I'd been thinking this crop would be a much more interesting photograph than the full one, but of course I didn't dare just post this version out of the blue, just imagining the comments you'd make!
Me? Make silly comments? Never!
Having viewing trouble so I'll check out Jimmy and the mob later. Good to see you're not wearing pants.
nice legs, no pants i know not what that means and not sure i want to but i would keep away from beach snakes you can never trust them.
LOL, steve111, yes, the hazards of carrying on conversations with Guy and falling in with his habit of jumping from photo to photo (and now user page to user page) to carry on a conversation. makes the comment lists seems a bit nonsensical, but intriguing!
This was just a response to Guy giving me a hard time in the last few comments on this photo. There was another comment linking to it somewhere, but even I've lost track of the chain on it!
you know i just happen to find the missing legs in a gallery worth looking through.
LOL, Steve, the legs aren't missing - they're right here!
I saw this one before (nice legs!) but I couldn't figure out what (if anything) you were discussing. Now I can't figure out why you have not mentioned anything about the fantastic seashell fossils in this pavement. I think it might be "Catskill Marble", a kind of limestone. Why don't you map it?
Well, Nawitka, it all involves conversations with Guy and steve, so you know there's no simple explanation of the cropped shot! (Guy teased me about going topless when I said that due to some bug bites I could only wear pants for a week, so I told him I'd post a shot.)
But yes, the stone is great! Its probably from Ireland, though. This was at the Irish Famine Memorial in New York. I thought I'd up-loaded regular photos, but now that I look, apparently I never did, and only posted 3D shots of it - but here's one. All of the banding on the vertical walls is the same stone. It's a pretty unique memorial. Looks like I better get some shots uploaded!
So, after following an n1w cartoon link you laughed so hard you spilled coffee all over yourself and now you're running around like this till your top goes through the wash?
Class, Bits :)
Hope you're well. And coldish. :P
