Amazing combination of a quiet sunset and approaching storm Tom! Beautifully captured in one shot! Greetings, Dick
I appreciate your kind words Dick. The conditions were... unique. And I was fortunate to have my camera ready. :)
Best regards, Tom
Feels like an epic storm is moving in :) Love the visual priority in this picture as well.
Actually the storm had just passed through to the south and east to reveal the sun setting Fred. I appreciate the comments very much. Best regards, Tom
I am quite fascinated by your composition of this one, Tom. It works well, and yet it defies some of our normal composition principles. I believe it is the graphic or dramatic theme that holds the composition together. Hank mentions the power that is conveyed by the subject and to that your compo works, reinforcing it. MJust my thoughts for what they are worth. Well done again, my friend.
Your thought are always welcome and enjoyed Ian. The power, that both you and Hank referenced, is what I felt looking at this scene. Very glad I was able to capture some of it's majesty. :)
All the best from Virginia, Tom
